High Impact Resistance
PETG is tough and ductile — it flexes slightly under stress and absorbs heavy impacts instead of cracking or shattering the way brittle materials like PLA do.
Our Material of Choice
Every print we send out — from NFC tap cards to custom parts — is made in PETG. It's not the cheapest or fastest filament on the market, but it's the one that holds up, outdoors and indoors, long after the novelty wears off. Here's why we build on it.
PETG sits between PLA and ABS — stronger and tougher than PLA, easier and safer to print than ABS. That middle ground is exactly why it's the right call for things people actually carry, use outside, and hand to other people.
PETG is tough and ductile — it flexes slightly under stress and absorbs heavy impacts instead of cracking or shattering the way brittle materials like PLA do.
It holds its shape at higher temperatures than PLA (around 70–80°C versus ~55°C) and barely absorbs moisture, so it stays stable and reliable outdoors or in a car, pocket, or bag.
It stands up to a range of acids, alkalis, and UV exposure, so parts left in the sun resist yellowing and degradation instead of fading and growing brittle over time.
Layers bond tightly to one another, producing durable, watertight prints that hold together mechanically rather than peeling or splitting under load.
PETG is naturally transparent with a smooth, glossy surface — ideal for clear housings, protective shields, and anything meant to look as good as it performs.
It's non-toxic, compatible with food-safe applications, and able to withstand medical-grade sterilization — a material you can trust in everyday use.
Every tap card, tag, and custom print we make is printed in PETG for exactly these reasons. If you're not sure PETG is right for your project, tell us what it needs to survive and we'll help you figure it out.
